Hydraulic thickness measuring device with high, definable measuring force. Developed for the practical thickness measurement of twisted conductors (CTC's) during the manufacturing process.

Process input

ProcessMeasurement procedure
  • Automatically align the measuring platform to the height and inclination of the CTC.
  • Align the device / measuring jaws parallel to the CTC.
  • Start measurement.
  • Measuring jaws move together and squeeze the CTC with the set specific pressure.
  • As soon as the target pressure is reached, the measured values are shown on the display.
Process output
  • Measured object in the same condition as before the thickness measurement.
