Tool for punching out bimetallic discs in the compound/single-cut or progressive/multiple-cut process.

Process input
  • Bimetal strip (or similar material)

Process flow and details
  • Downward stroke: punching out the shapes defined by the cutting elements from the bimetal strip
  • Upward stroke: pushing the punched-out bimetal-disc back into the belt
Process Output
  • Bimetal strip, pre-punched discs - pressed back into the strip
Interfaces
  • Flange for attaching the hydraulic cylinder of the punching machine
  • Electrical plug of the tool safety switch for monitoring the closed position (double-sheet monitoring)
