Process input
  • Bimetal strip, pre-punched discs and pressed in again
  • Bandwidth: max. 40mm
  • Tape thickness: 0.15 to 0.3mm
  • Tape wound on coil with paper liner and adhesive tape applied
  • contact elements (as bulk material in the vibrating pot)
Process flow and details
  • 1-2 contacts per bimetal disc can be welded on
  • welding current max. 2500 A.
  • Welding time: min. 15ms
  • Feed: cam disc 0 to 35mm
Process output
  • Bimetal strip, pre-punched discs, pressed into the strip with 1-2 contacts attached
  • Tape wound on coil with paper liner and adhesive tape applied
