Specifications

Standard versionThe standard version of the punching machine includes the following components:
  • Safety cover with door switch and automatic locking
  • Control cabinet with PLC brand "OMRON"
  • Touch screen control panel, multilingual user interface with plain text - malfunctions and error messages
  • Hydraulic unit with two-stage pressure build-up
  • Double-acting hydraulic cylinder for quick punching
  • Automatic punching strip - oiler
  • Cam-controlled feed and path monitoring (cam wheel is not a part of the scope of delivery of the SA4)
  • Automatic unwinding unit and winding unit for the punching strip
  • Unwinder with monitoring for insert paper.

Options & AccessoriesThe following functions can optionally be implemented:
  • Adhesive tape application device
  • Color sensor for the detection of colored markings on the bimetal strip
  • Disk extractor and collecting container

CapacityThe capacity of the punching machine depends mainly on the type of punching tool used.
  • Compound die tool (simple, round discs): up to 10,000* pieces / hour
  • (= 2.77 pieces / second .. or 0.36 seconds / piece)
  • Progressive die tool (discs with special shapes): up to 5,500* pieces / hour
  • (= 1.52 pieces / second .. or 0.65 seconds / piece)
*Specification without taking setup times into account.

  • Bimetal strip (or similar material)
  • Bandwidth: max. 33mm
  • Strip thickness: 0.1 to 0.3mm
Process flow and details
  • Punching force: max. 50kN
  • Feed: cam wheel 0 to 35mm
Process output
  • Bimetal strip, pre-punched discs - pressed back into the strip
  • Strip wound on spool
  • Options: interleaving paper, adhesive tape (subsequent processing)

  • Compressed air: 6-10 bar. 100 liters / minute. Free from oil, water and dust.
