Process flow and details
  • Placement of the bimetal element in the adapter
  • Setting the base load, the continuous load, the variable load (load springs: 0.1 to 0.2N each)
  • Enter the measurement parameters
  • Start of measurement.
  • The bimetal element is heated and cooled with the set temperature profile.
  • The snap-action of the tested object is monitored and recorded (path, temperature, electrical switching contact)
  • Graphic display of the recorded path-temperature characteristic
  • Automatic calculation and evaluation of the most important parameters (TOS, TUS, sTOS, sTUS, etc.)
